about codelogic

We build from a blank file, on purpose.

Every studio says "custom." Most of them mean a theme with your logo dropped in. We mean a repository with nothing in it until we write the first line for your project — layout, logic, and design decided by your idea, not by a marketplace bundle.

Our position on templates

Templates optimize for speed of resale, not fit. They ship with markup built for a hundred unrelated businesses, decisions already made by someone who never met you, and a ceiling on how far the site can bend before it breaks.

We think a site, an app, or a brand system should be shaped like the thing it's for. That means every project starts empty — no boilerplate theme, no page-builder, no drag-and-drop layout engine underneath the surface.

It costs more up front than installing a theme. It costs a lot less over the life of the product, because there's no fighting a framework that was never built for your use case.

how we actually build

Start to finish, in four stages

stage_01

Brief & scope

We ask about the business first, the tech second. Goals, audience, constraints, and what "done" looks like — turned into a written scope and a fixed quote before any code exists.

stage_02

Design in context

Layout, type, and color are chosen for your content, not pulled from a component library. You review real screens with your real copy, not filler text in a stock layout.

stage_03

Raw build

Hand-written front end and back end, structured around what the product actually needs to do — no unused plugin weight, no fighting a theme's opinions about your own site.

stage_04

Ship & support

Launch, monitor, and a direct line to the engineer who built it — not a ticket queue. Most engagements continue into ongoing SEO, iteration, or feature work.

what we hold to

Three things we won't compromise

No template, ever

If it started as someone else's theme, it isn't leaving our shop with our name on it.

One engineer, one thread

The person who scopes your project is reachable through the whole build — no handoffs into a support inbox.

Fixed quote, no surprises

Scope and price are set before we write a line. Change requests get their own quote, not a silent overage.

Bring the idea. We'll write the logic.
